The brief
As a Directorate of the Council of Europe, the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines and HealthCare (EDQM) contributes to the basic human right of ensuring access to safe medicines and healthcare. As a major player in the European regulatory landscape for health, the EDQM sought to establish and implement a 2022-24 external communication strategy that would meet the core needs of its activities and lay the foundations for the future.
Our proposal
EU-turn conducted a three-step analysis of the EDQM’s online and offline communication activities, including a digital audit, a series of workshops at the management and staff levels, and surveys assessing the performance of the current communication actions. Based on the data collected, we produced a holistic communication strategy to provide the EDQM with practical advice and a clear roadmap on how to better create awareness of its mission, engage with its audiences, share its achievements, and optimise the available resources. We equipped the EDQM with a communication plan, a hands-on implementation guide for its staff and an evaluation plan to monitor the performance of the communication activities.
We’re proud of
having crafted a solid and comprehensive communication strategy in line with the EDQM strategic objectives. This will help the EDQM to stay on track to continue delivering effective and relevant communications over the coming years.
